Hi! I'm a recent graduate of Brandeis University currently living in the Waltham area, and am looking to start tutoring. I graduated from Brandeis in 2022 with a B. A. in Sociology, and a minor in French and Francophone Studies. I am very familiar with the skills required to excel in English classes due to my educational experience - particularly reading and writing. Additionally, I started learning French when I was in 3rd grade, and so I have about 15 years of French learning experience under my belt. Moreover, I have also studied Spanish, Italian, Latin, and a bit of German, and so I am quite familiar with and passionate about foreign language learning. I am a part-time masters student at Boston University, so I am quite flexible during the week. I'm looking forward to the opportunity to get to know your family!

We loved working with Leah. Punctual and solid communication: She was on time for our phone interview, she confirmed our arranged time the morning of, arrived on time, and messaged in between to let me know she would in fact be arriving on time. So - terrific communication! Effective: My 10-year-old daughter took two pages of (French) notes during their first visit and asked immediately when Leah could come back. Prepared: Leah arrived with her own supplies (handouts, flash cards, white board) and even made my daughter a set of flash cards. We are definitely going to keep working with Leah and so grateful we've been connected.
