About Leah

Hello my name is Leah. I have been working with children all my life, my mother had an in-home daycare while I was growing up. I would help her out every time I came home from school or had an off day. I learned a lot from her about what it takes to be a caregiver. Mostly about patients and having that understanding when communicating with a child. I took it further with babysitting around the neighborhood to get more experience with the knowledge that was giving by my mother. I have worked at two day cares for about a three year span. While working I had the opportunity to participate in first Aid, CPR classes, and SIDS classes. Also I was given one on one training how to communicate with the children. I've always loved working with children, you can always learn something new from them.
