About Leah

I've always had a passion for helping children grow and develop. I have four years of childcare experience and have cared for children of all ages. I have also cared for my little sister for years whom has a rare syndrome that can affect her abilities. I have loved helping her and watching and her grow. I'm patient, calm, friendly, kind, and respectful. I believe that communication is key, so I'm happy to provide verbal updates at pickup and send regular updates via text or phone call if you prefer. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules and have experience playing a variety of games with children, from outdoor sports to board games to technology-based games. I have some college education as I'm currently pursuing a kinesiology degree at UMD. I'm comfortable caring for up to four children at a time. I speak English and am willing to help with carpooling, light housekeeping, and swimming supervision. I can't wait to meet your family and help your children learn!
