For 20 years, I raised my four lovely children, then I decided to go back to work. For the last 13 years I've been working in the office of a solo practitioner. He had already been in practice for decades by the time I arrived so his patient base was older. I loved working in a small practice because it allowed me to get to know the patients and learn about their lives and families. We became friends. During Covid we stayed open so for several years, sometimes we were the only "in person" contact people had so it was important to me to receive everyone warmly. Now, the Dr is retiring and it's time for me to move on. I value the relationships I had with older ones and I absolutely adore children. ( I have a 9-year-old granddaughter!) I'm looking forward to meeting new people and hoping to share my decades of "people" experience and the vast experience I have having managed a home of 6.
