About Leahna

Hi! My name is Leahna, and I have several years of experience working with children in childcare and educational settings. I am currently a college student studying Early Childhood Studies, with the goal of becoming a special education teacher. I have experience working with children of different ages and needs, including working as a school-age childcare teacher at the YMCA. I truly enjoy working with children and creating a safe, comfortable, and fun environment where they can be themselves. I am patient, responsible, caring, and always willing to adapt to each child's individual needs. I enjoy doing arts and crafts, playing games, helping with homework, and finding fun activities that keep children engaged. My experience in childcare and education has taught me how important it is to build positive relationships with both children and their families.
