About Leah

I'd describe my personality as dependable, gentle, and personable. I like working with kids because I am the oldest of 4 siblings, and have more cousins than I can count! I come from a big extended family. I'd love to become a mother one day, and I love the perspective and creativity that children bring into the world. I'm looking for a job that feels natural. I'd like to form connections and relationships that feel less like "work" and more like family. I'd love to feel like myself, be creative, try new things, and not have every day feel the same. I started working with kids when I was a young teenager. I would often babysit children in my neighborhood, and I have stayed overnight to provide care. In my spare time, I like to cook, bake, and travel. I recently went abroad for 2 weeks where I was able to try the most delicious food! I love cooking for myself and others, it's definitely a love language of mine. My skills include patience, creativity, and empathy.
