About Leah

I started working with kids when I was a pre-teen. I'm the oldest of 4, and was the "third parent" in my family, especially following the arrival of my youngest brother when I was 14. After a high school and through my earliest twenties, I nannied full time with a few families and have had experience with infants, multiples up to 4, and children with developmental and physical disabilities. In my spare time, I like to read, spend time outdoors, bake, and create art. I have a degree in fiber arts, so you can find me sewing, weaving, crocheting, dyeing and everything in between - and I love to teach these skills to kids! My skills include creativity, engagement, and household management. I am a natural at meeting children of any age at their level, I love to be a part of their world and get to know them and engage in their interests. As an artist and a creator, I love to help children grow and nourish their creativity with projects and crafts both indoors and outdoors.
