About Leah

I am a certified elementary education teacher in Pennsylvania and have been working with children since the age of 16. I live in the Fairmount area of Philadelphia with my husband and currently work as a fourth grade teacher in the Garnet Valley School District. I have had many experiences working with children in schools and in home settings. My most recent experiences with child care include being a summer nanny for a 2-year-old and 6-year-old. Before that I was a summer nanny for a 4-year-old and 7-year-old as well as after school care/tutoring for a 9-year-old. I am wonderful with children and am extremely loving and caring. My references would tell you that I am consistent, on time, responsible, and communicate well. My interests include running, reading, going out to eat, spending time with animals, hiking, and shopping! I hope to find a family that needs a part time babysitter during school year and summer months when I am not teaching!
