About Leah

Hi! I'm Leah, and I'd love to care for your family! I graduated from Oregon State University with a B. S. in Bioengineering and recently moved to Portland. I have 9+ years of childcare, teaching, and coaching experience with children ages 2-14, including 8+ years babysitting, a summer as a full-time nanny for three children under 5, 5 years teaching private piano lessons, coaching beginner tennis, and serving as a camp counselor for Oregon State STEM Academy. I love creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment where kids can learn, explore, and be creative. I'm happy to help with transportation, homework, meal prep, light housekeeping, bedtime routines, diaper changes, and pets. I have reliable transportation, a perfect driving record, am a non-smoker, and am fluent in German. I'm dependable, organized, enthusiastic, and happy to provide references upon request!
