I hired Leah for Summer 2026 to help fill in the gaps for our kids, ages 6 and 9, who had summer day camps but still needed some morning and afternoon coverage. Her responsibilities included spending anywhere from 2 to 6 hours every weekday with one or both boys, and occasional transport to/from camps, the pool, and other Baton Rouge attractions like the zoo and the children's museum. Leah was invariably prompt and courteous. She did what she said she would do and showed up when she said she would. On rare occasions where she could not keep a committed date, she provided ample advance notice so I could make other arrangements. I work from home so I was able to see Leah in action daily, and she was always looking to keep the boys active and occupied. I never once saw her idly flipping through her phone while they went unsupervised - she was always on task. Additionally, even though she was more accustomed to working with infants and toddlers with a different set of needs, she adjusted quickly to the demands of older active children and always approached my boys with kindness, patience, and a playful spirit.
