About Leah

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, caring, and approachable. I like working with kids because I have always dreamed of becoming a mother and being a nanny is truly the most rewarding job until that time comes! I'm looking for a job that is somewhat flexible because I do have a full time job as a Detox Counselor but I have missed babysitting/nannying so much I would love to be able to do so on my days off! I started working with kids when I was 13! I started babysitting my mom's best friends three daughters (2, 4, 6 at the time) and then from there I had short /long nanny jobs throughout high school and college until I graduated in April 2023 with my Bachelors in Social Work and then I began my current job as a Detox Counselor at Dawn Farm Spera Recovery Center. My skills include being creative, athletic, and being able to easily redirect or calm an intense situation down quickly and effectively.
