About Leah

My deep connection with animals, especially with cats and dogs, began the day I was born. My parents owned a huge Akita dog in the middle of a small community in rural Japan. Back then, in the '60's, pets were not kept indoors, but we did! This laid the foundation for a lifetime of pet ownership--both cats and dogs of all breeds. Please excuse my humble brag, but animals seem to gravitate towards me--even the shyest ones, lol. I cannot help but care for all pets like they are my own. Hopefully, you can entrust me with your precious fur-kids.
