About Layla

My name is Layla, and I am a college student entering my sophomore year, majoring in Health Administration. Working with children has always been a passion of mine. From a young age, I've loved being around kids and helping care for them. I began babysitting my younger cousins for family members, which taught me patience, creativity, and responsibility. As I grew older, I gained more hands-on experience through positions at summer camps and summer school programs. For the past few years, I worked at a camp/summer school program in Redwood City, primarily with kindergarten and first-grade students. My responsibilities included planning fun and age-appropriate activities, assisting with homework, supervising playtime, and ensuring a safe space for all. I am responsible, caring, and enthusiastic, and I always strive to create a fun, engaging, and nurturing environment for the children in my care.
