About Laycee

My name is Laycee. As a Montanan native, I grew up in eastern Montana and moved out to Bozeman for college and haven't left this beautiful town. Being outdoors is my favorite past time. There's so much beauty to experience in so many ways. I am adventurous, as well as thoughtful about the activities children can experience. My teaching philosophy is child focused. As a guide for young learners, I believe it is so vital to get to know each child on an individual basis in order to best meet that child's needs. Each child is their own amazing world of interests, experiences, and curiosities. my years as an Early Learning Professional, I've worked with children ages infant to 5 years of age in various capacities. During my time as the Early Learning Director for the YMCA, my primary goal was to create learning environments in which children can thrive in, while being themselves and engaging in a community of learning.
