About Lauryn

Hi, I'm Lauryn! I'm a 24-year-old music teacher, musician, and Berklee graduate. I've spent the last two years caring for children- one year as a private lessons teacher (ages 6mo - adult) and one year as an elementary/middle school music teacher. I recently moved back to Boston to pursue music but would love to keep working with kiddos! Aside from my teaching experience, I worked for two years in a nursery and am comfortable caring for infants and toddlers. I have a car and would be happy to help with errands, housework, and homework. I'm known for my warmth and enthusiasm. I love planning fun activities and believe kids are the happiest when they are exploring, creating, and engaging with the world. I'm looking for a daytime position (preferably weekdays) that allows me to work closely with a family while also pursuing my music.
