We hired Lauryn for a long term nanny position. She seemed excited, agreed to work for us, set up her first day. Then she called in sick at the last minute. Understandable, people get sick. But then she disappeared. We asked if she was feeling better and would be available to come the next week. She simply quit responding to texts and care.com message. She disappeared. Leaving us with no nanny and no explanation. I would not recommend anyone with this lack of communication.
