About Laurin

I am currently a third grade teacher for CMS. I also have experience teaching kindergarten and first grade. I have taught for three years, but worked with children for many years before that. I have a B. A. in Elementary Education and have studied child development in depth. I will be available to tutor part time during the summer months. I work in Huntersville, but live in Concord, so I am available for all areas of Concord, Harrisburg, and North Charlotte. I align all of my tutoring sessions with the NC Common Core Standards, so my students will be taught in the same way they will be learning in school. I tutor children as early as 2 years old (basic motor functions, identifying colors, finding shapes, etc.) to 12 years old. I cover all academic areas as well as social skills lessons and adapting motor functions for basic skills.
