About Laurie

I worked in skilled and all levels of senior living communities for over 20 years as a director. I am responsible accountable and understand all different medical diagnoses. I am educated and very comfortable interacting with seniors especially the elderly population that is upset by their freedom being taken away because now they have to be cared for. I believe in treating all seniors with dignity and respect. For me this means not speaking to them like they're a child or bossing them around not giving them options even though you're doing things for them finding a way to still help them have some sort of autonomy. Communication with family and professionally in the medical field is extremely important. Following the medical plan and what the family, and doctor expects as far as care is one of my mini priorities.
