Laurie is an absolutely wonderful nanny! She started watching our daughter when she was around 5 months old, and she was so good with her. She is warm and kind, playful, and very sweet. She made sure our daughter got outdoor time every day (stroller walks, backyard playtime), helped us start introducing solid foods, provided helpful suggestions for age-appropriate toys and activities, and made creative use of the toys/books/etc we already have. She was very clear in all of her communication with us, followed our systems and instructions well, and provided guidance and suggestions when we asked for them. She is extremely punctual. Laurie started with us during a very challenging period for our baby’s sleep—every nap was a struggle—but Laurie always remained completely calm, even on stressful and chaotic days. She is experienced, kind, and caring. We recommend her very highly!
