About Laurie

I have 20+ years of experience as a professional educator and Nanny. I lived in Hawaii where I was an elementary school (grades K-3) teacher for 12 years. I started my professional Nanny career with an agency in Hawaii as well. Since I returned to California in 2008 I have worked full time for high profile families in the Bay Area for at least 3 years per job assignment and many temp positions. Duties performed while in full charge of infants, toddlers and early elementary children were to, first secure a trusting safe and caring relationship with parents and children. Prepared nourishing meals and snacks, sterilized bottles, kept areas tidy, encouraged language and social skills, provided a structured environment for preschool children, always mindful and intuitive to children's needs and teaching moments. I am CPR certified through Red Cross and registered with Trustline.
