About Lauri

I received a Rotary scholarship to Japan when I was a high school junior in Wisconsin,& graduated at the top of my class. I went to school for Occupational Therapy for children in Wisconsin. I ran a small home day care so I could stay at home with my 4 children & support my family at the same time while my husband finished his PHD. We then moved to Japan for 18 years where my husband worked as a full professor. I taught English as a second language from preschool on up. I came back to Arkansas in the fall of 2007 & worked as a substitute teacher & then as a Dental Assistant. With a great love for children I came back to my roots. I worked for the same family for 7 years until they relocated to the Dallas area & then for a family for 12 months until they enrolled their son in preschool. I then worked for another wonderful family until their son started preschool & then spent 3 years working with 2 special needs students at school. Most recently I helped with newborn twins short term.
