My name is Lauren. I married my incredible husband in September 2019. My professional experience includes working at Summer Playground, a program run through the Hempfield Rec Center, as a staff for 2 years and a supervisor for 2 years during the summer of my college years. I also worked at a daycare during my college years. Through high school, college, and present, I have babysat for children of all ages. I graduated from Lancaster Bible College in May 2019 with a bachelor degree in social work and worked in foster care for 5 years. I now have a sweet almost 2-year-old boy that would likely be with me when nannying so a family would need to be comfortable with that. I have a diverse experience with kids of all ages and backgrounds through my professional experience, and have personal experience with kids through raising my own child. I have such a big heart and patience for children. I am first aid and CPR certified. My background checks are all up to date.

Finding someone you trust implicitly with your children is rare, but Lauren has been a true blessing and has made our lives so much easier. We’ve had a wonderful, flexible arrangement where she primarily watched my daughter (almost 2) and son (3 months) in her home, but she also frequently came to our house with her son. In both environments, she was organized, reliable, and made us feel 100% at peace. We fully trusted that Lauren would show up on the days we discussed and she often was willing to change days to accomodate varying work schedules. One of the things we appreciate most is how she always respected our wishes for our kids. Whether it was regarding their schedule, discipline, or specific routines, she followed our lead perfectly while adding her own warmth and expertise. It has also been a joy that she brings her son along. He is such adds so much joy and my daughter loved having him as a playmate and first friend. Whether the kids were in her home or ours, Lauren handled everything with a calm, positive attitude. She is a total professional who truly cares, and any family would be lucky to have her.
