I was a camp counselor for 8 years and taught swimming and arts & crafts. My professional background is in the mental health field. I have worked as an expressive arts therapist in hospitals and residential treatment programs in Boston. I hold my B. F. A. in expressive arts therapy and Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology. I have experience working with children in special needs classrooms. I also am a certified yoga and meditation teacher. I have a calm and grounded personality. Lauren has cared for my children a handful of times, and she always exceeds my expectations. She is kind, fun and enthusiastic. She has a special gift for connecting with young kids and creating a safe space for them to be creative and have fun. She has a unique background of experiences that up-levels her care, including art, psychology and yoga training. She's even taught my daughter some fun yoga poses! I have one toddler and one baby, and she is confident caring for them both including during meal times, playtime and bedtime. I would recommend Lauren to anyone looking for a reliable, caring and experienced care giver for their children.
