Hi! I'm lauren! I'm 28 years old and recently moved to Katy TX after working for Disneyland for 8 months! I have over 10 years of experience working with kids - several years of nannying, babysitting and working for child care companies like Kinder Care! I'm a kind hearted, play focused care taker that loves to incorporate learning into everything! I love to go on adventures such as going to the pool, park, library and such! I have worked with kids of all ages and am CPR certified. I have two younger sisters and am the 3rd oldest of 18 grandchildren on my dads side! I will be pursuing my bachelors degree within the next year and a half, and am an elementary education major! Every age has a special place in my heart! I've worked with multiples more than once, as well as worked with infants with feeding issues. I love all animals, do not smoke and have my own car! We hired Lauren for a night of overnight care for our infant twins. We had 4 options for sitters/nannies and she was the ONLY one who did not ask if she could sleep while caring for our babies. In fact, when I brought up the topic, she was quick to inform me she didn't intend to sleep because her mind was committed to care and responsibility of our little ones, so even if she wanted to sleep, she wouldn't be able to... Two things immediately stood out to me upon meeting Lauren in-person. First, she was on time (a few minutes early actually) and in our experience, most sitters/nannies have arrived at least 5 minutes late. Second, upon meeting our babies she was immediately focused on them and was obviously comfortable around babies. Unfortunately, our infants have feeding issues and we've decided to find someone with feeding issue experience... Lauren is very personable, courteous, and easy to talk to. Aside from babies, I think Lauren would also be a fun choice for older kiddos.
