About Lauren

Hello! My name is Lauren and I was first entrusted with the care, grow, and learning of young children at 12 years old. Not only did I nurture my two younger siblings, I also volunteered for our library's summer reading program. That's when I discovered I didn't just love my little sisters, I loved working with kids: watching them unfold the novelties of our world through play! At 16, I jumped into childcare, summer camps, swim lessons, and lifeguarding at our local YMCA. I was absolutely inspired by the way curiosity and enthusiasm traveled from child to child, but I was also challenged to become a more patient, humble, energetic, and all-around tolerant provider. Now, my natural attentiveness has been transformed into vigilance and resilience, I've been happily recruited by several parents to continue babysitting and teaching swim lessons for almost four years. I really look forward to bringing all my experience working with you!
