About Lauren

I spent the past 6 years in Shanghai. Over the course of my time there I adopted a cat who relocated with me to DC and also became involved in the pet rescue and relocation communities that are unfortunately necessary. I'm waiting to become a dog owner until I've finally settled down from repatriating, but in the meantime would love to spend time with yours. Since high school I've pet sat for families on vacation and have lots of experience with several breeds, namely: Goldens, Samoyeds, Goldendoodles, Labradors, Shih Tzus, Miniature Schnauzers and Schnoodles. Of course I'm not limited to working with these breeds and would love to explore getting to know new types of dogs and their personalities. I've been told by friends and family with dogs that I "have good dog energy" which is a compliment I'm extremely proud of. During walks I tend to pace myself at about 3-3. 5 mph, but don't mind speeding up for extremely energetic dogs or slowing down to match dogs that like to take the roses.
