About Lauren

I'm a fun-loving, kind, and empathetic caregiver with a lifelong passion for working with kids. I started working with children at 14 as a daycare worker and babysitter, and by 19 I was nannying part-time before taking on a full-time position where I stayed for six years. I later took time to raise my own son, while continuing to babysit regularly. I'm goofy and a kid at heart and love that kids learn best through play, so I try to weave learning, creativity, and new experiences into everyday moments while balancing the structure of daily rhythms. I'm laid-back and enjoy fitting naturally into a family's routines and dynamics. My strengths are empathetic patience, understanding child development, and adaptability. Outside of nannying, I love spending time with my son, doing photography, sewing and crafting, cooking, weight lifting, and getting outside for walks. Most importantly, I genuinely love being a positive and caring presence in a child's life!
