About Lauren

My name is Lauren and I've had the privilege to be involved with children for over 10 years. I've worked with children in a variety of settings, whether babysitting, nannying, tutoring, substitute teaching, or engaging students at after school programs. When babysitting or nannying, I enjoy reading stories, doing crafts, and playing outdoors. For example, during the Summer Olympics, I created my own Olympic events with a group of students, beginning with an opening ceremony, homemade torch and all. The last girl I nannied exclaimed, "You're the best nanny ever." She and I enjoyed the outdoors, coloring, reading stories, and playing with friends. To celebrate her fourth birthday, we invited all her friends to a pool party, cupcakes and glitter tattoos included. I love working with children and want to influence the next generation.
