About Lauren

I am a creative and compassionate individual with a passion for providing care. With a creative mindset, I strive to engage children in imaginative activities that foster their development and spark their curiosity. I believe in creating a nurturing and positive environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to express themselves. I'd describe my personality as kind, funny, and creative. I like working with kids because they are fascinating. The world is so new to them and it is so fun to be a part of their learning experience. Once I was teaching a dance class to a group of third graders and we were doing movements to strengthen our core. It became apparent that they didn't know what abs were. It was really awesome to explain to them this group of muscles and how they provide strength and protection to their bodies. I could see their gears turning and how they felt empowered by this information.
