About Lauren
Experience: 10 yrs
I am a full time junior kindergarten teacher and lead camp counselor with extensive experience caring for children aged 6 weeks to 13 years. In the past, I have taught a third and fourth grade Spanish class, given private reading instruction, student taught sixth and first grade, and been a caregiver to all ages. For four years, I ran a private junior kindergarten program in Bryn Mawr and Philadelphia. I now teach at a private junior kindergarten in Newtown Square. I am available for weekend and evening babysitting and also willing to work overnights and full weekends at any location. In addition, I am considering a move into full time nannying to give children the one on one attention they deserve. All background checks and clearances are available upon request. I can also give references from former principals and current clients.

Lauren is amazing with our girls. They love her and cannot wait until she comes to watch them. Lauren's vast experience with children of all ages translates into a fun and safe experience for the kids. She can deal with their behavioral issues and keep them totally entertained. She reads books with them, makes jewelry, plays games, and keeps our very mischievous 2 year old out of trouble. She is so good at managing multiple kids (we have three) and that is a skill that is incredibly hard to come by. In addition to being smart and and excellent role model for our girls, Lauren has the most calm disposition is great at redirecting the girls when they are in a funk. She's also extremely reliable. I really cannot recommend Lauren highly enough.
