About Lauren

Hello! My name is Lauren. I moved to California last august and am currently working as a Garden Teacher in Redwood City. So far I love California and am looking for some part time work to fill up my time and supplement my teaching salary! This summer I am working remotely, and have semi-regular availability during the week and on weekends. I am looking for one time jobs or one week at a time jobs. Through teaching this past year, I have found a passion for working with young kids and want to work as a preschool teacher at an outdoor school in my next steps. I love the creativity and energy of young minds! Working with them outside is especially a joy because there is so much to learn about and investigate. I think it allows kids to be their true selves. In my free time I like to go hiking and camping, read books, knit, mend, embroider, and do other crafts. I would be really excited to make art with your kids or build things with those young engineers!
