About Lauren

Hi all! My name is Lauren and I am a second year PT student at Simmons! I have been babysitting for 9 years and have cared for children from ages 5 months all the way up to 14. I have been a swimmer my whole life and have worked as a lifeguard for 5 years so I am CPR and first aid certified! I am interested in working with the pediatric population in the future and I have had some experience with kids not only babysitting but in the PT setting as well. I do have another job but I am super flexible and would be willing to do drop ins or commit to something weekly if need be. I do also have a car and would be willing to drive! I like working with kids because I like to find ways to be creative! Finding things to do when babysitting can get creative and I always want to get kids to be interactive! I started working with kids when I was 14 as a mothers aid and then progressed to babysitting. In my spare time, I like to travel, crochet, exercise (love yoga!) and spend time with friends!
