I have always been surrounded with pets, from age 1. My first Black Lab actually helped me learn to walk by letting me hold on to his back and walk back and forth in the living room, and nudged me back up when I fell. Ever since, I have had a love for animals. My family usually had 2 or 3 dogs at a time. I have experience with all types of dogs (from Mastiffs and Great Danes to Jack Russel Terriers and Poodles and everything in between), cats, turtles, fish and birds. My husband and I currently have 1 dog who is considered part of the family. Not only do I enjoy being around animals, I enjoy interacting with them and enforcing their good behaviors!
