Hi! My name is Lauren, and I just completed my 4th year of teaching 5th grade. While I loved that job so much, I'm looking for something more easygoing. I specialized in teaching English language arts and social studies. I love teaching creative writing and doing book studies. Math.... is not my favorite. However, give me 10 minutes with Google and I'm confident that I could figure it out. I graduated with both an elementary education and a deaf education degree. I am rusty from only working with hearing students for the past 4 years, but I remember my sign language well enough to get along in a conversation. I would love if this was something I also got the opportunity to share. I am pet friendly! I can develop slight allergies, but it's nothing some medicine can't fix. I have two cats myself, so I will likely have cat hair on me (no matter how hard I lint-roll).
