About Lauren

I'm a junior at Texas Christian University studying art history and English with a 3. 967 GPA. I'm the middle of 5 children, with 5 younger cousins, so I have years of experience watching over kids. I love animals, reading, and nature. I value imagination, nature, and empathy, and I try to infuse these values into my life as much as possible! I'd describe my personality as creative, ambiverted, and reflective. I like working with kids because they love to have fun! I'm looking for a job where I can fit in with the family naturally without overly imposing on structure and functions. I started working with kids when I began as an assistant camp counselor for summer art camps! In my spare time, I like to read, do yoga, and spend time in nature. One thing you should know about me is I prioritize safety and happiness, but safety comes first! My skills include crafting, placing value on nature and imagination, and helping with educational needs (ex. tutoring, catering to dyslexia).
