About Lauren

Over the years, I've acquired an abundance of experience working with children. My first job was working as a mother's helper for an immigrant family. The mother spoke very little English, as well as her three children. The children consisted of two twin boys, both aged two, and an older sister, aged 3. My job consisted of household chores, laundry, and dinner prep. After this, I was employed as a youth swim instructor. There, I taught classes of four children, every half hour, their ages spanning from 6 months to 15 years old. My next babysitting job was a client whose daughter was enrolled in my newborn swim class. I nannied for her baby, a 7-month-old girl, everyday after school during my Junior year of high school. My duties included bottle feeding, nap times, playing, occasional trips to the park, and diaper duty. My certifications in both first aid and CPR were a direct result of my most recent employment as a beach lifeguard.
