Hi! I have immense professional experience caring for children of all ages! I am an Occupational Therapist who is currently looking for date-specific work to help pay for bills while I work on some projects. I am Infant, Child, & Adult CPR & First Aid certified (+ med training). I've been a preschool teacher, nanny, home health ped therapist and a school OT. I have a doctorate in OT from TWU, and a BA in Psychology from UT. I've worked extensively with children with intellectual, physical, and learning disabilities & differences. I have professional experience with all aspects of childcare, including newborn (2+ mos), multiple kids, morning-bedtime, overnight and multi-day care, as well as errands, activities, and household help. I adore animals & I'm semi-fluent in Spanish. I love to read books, play games, learn new things, experiment and make crafts. I'm available for occasional sitting. Let me know if you would like to schedule a call/video chat for an introduction!
I highly recommend Lauren as a responsible and caring babysitter. She has consistently provided a safe and nurturing environment for my children, and has always followed my instructions for their care. Lauren is also very flexible and able to adapt to the needs of my household. She has a lot of experience working with children and always has age-appropriate activities planned to keep them engaged and entertained. In addition, she is trained in basic first aid and has current CPR certification, which gives me peace of mind when she is caring for my children. I have full trust in Lauren and I am confident in her ability to care for my children. I highly recommend her to any family in need of a reliable and trustworthy babysitter.
