About Lauren

Hi! My name is Lauren! I am a recent graduate from the University of Iowa with a degree in English & Creative Writing and a minor in Psychology. I grew up in Coralville and currently live in Iowa City. This past summer, I was a full-time nanny for two children (ages 3 and 6). Throughout this position, I formed a great connection with the kiddos through time spent together, as well as through engaging activities. Such activities included: coloring/drawing, building forts, going on the swings, picking berries, water activities in the backyard, going to the trampoline park, public library, etc. Back in September, I became an aunt to my beautiful niece. She is 6 months now and, I must say, it has been a joy watching her get bigger and grow a personality in doing so. I have always been told that I am great with kids, which I have always taken to heart. I find great value in working with and interacting with children and most importantly, learning something from them!
