My name is Lauren, I am currently a special education Kindergarten teacher. I was a professional nanny & newborn overnight care provider for almost 6 years prior to starting as a teacher this past January. As well as a substitute teacher in both private and public schools for the last 3 1/2 years. Before that, I worked in mainly in the infant and occasionally the toddler classroom as an assistant teacher for over a year. My experience includes extensive hands-on work with newborns and infants. For toddlers, I love incorporating activities that support early preschool and kindergarten readiness! I hold an A. A. S. in Early Childhood Development with two certifications in Early Childhood Development & Early Childhood Education and a B. S. in Interdisciplinary Studies with double minors in Education and Recreation & Wellness! I'm also CPR, First Aid, AED, Water Safety certified and am very experienced with allergy safety and EpiPen administration. Available for a Summer 2026 position.
