About Lauren

I'd describe my personality as patient, fun and kind I like tutoring because I enjoy helping students see math less as a frustration and more as a helpful subject that can be applied to all areas of our lives. I'm looking for a job that is consistent and reliable. I have been tutoring for 3 years now. This includes one on one math tutoring through americorps over Zoom and in classrooms for elementary, middle and high school students. I have also been a teaching and learning assistant for college classes including calc II and III for two years. In my spare time, I like to rock climb, paddle board, hike, watch math videos, read, dance, do visual arts and play with my cat, Remi. My skills include patience, mentorship and visual math strategies.
