About Lauren

I have over a year of experience working in a group home for adults ages 60-92, with intellectual and physical disabilities as a direct support professional through Perspectives. My duties included passing daily meds, assisting wake up/bed transfer, wheelchair or walking, showers, toileting and hygiene, meal prep, activity planning and transportation, behavior and daily medical need tracking online, and more. My experience with detail includes clients that are blind, have dementia, are wheelchair bound, have PTSD, Autism, Intermittent Explosive Disorder, Self Injurious Behavior or harm others, Fragile X Syndrome, Mental Illness, and Diabetes. I am comfortable taking on clients with disabilities I haven't yet worked with, I'm a quick learner and love to help!
