About Lauren

I am 27, and enjoy taking care of children, adults, am comfortable with physically and mentally disabled folks, and pets. I have over a year of experience working in a group home for adults with intellectual disabilities through Perspectives. My duties included passing daily meds, assisting wake up/bed transfer, wheelchair or walking, showers, toileting and hygiene, meal prep, activity planning and transportation, behavior and daily medical need tracking online, and more. I also have a year of experience working with children in daycare, for both after school program and day summer camp. I have experience with autistic and intellectually disabled children. I am comfortable with children who are physically disabled, but currently only have experience with physically disabled adults through my job at the group home. I have a car, and am willing to drive clients to grocery store, appointments, and fun activities. I love music, nature walks, and video games. Would love to talk!
