About Lauren

Hello families!! I absolutely adore working with children and hope to one day in the future open and run my own daycare! I am completing my Masters of Social Work degree at the University of Texas at Austin. I am interested in enhancing the learning of children through integrated and interactive activities. I have worked in childcare for around 10+ years in all different forms such as babysitting around my home neighborhood, assistant preschool teacher, daycare work, and running soccer camp. In my previous employment I worked as a Registered Behavioral Technician working with children who have Autism Spectrum Disorder, building trusting relationships with parents and the children while working on developing their social and language skills. I have high energy and love to be active with the children including, running around outside, playing interactive games like tag, different types of sports, indoor board games, and arts and crafts.
