About Lauren

Hello! I'm Lauren from Branford, CT. I'm 32 years old and have over a decade of experience caring for children of all ages, from infantcy through preteens. I spent six years working in a daycare/pre-K setting and four years as a kindergarten paraprofessional, with a background in speech-language pathology. I'm warm, responsible, patient, dependable, and kind. I understand that every child has their own individual needs, strengths, preferences, and ways of interacting with the world. Most importantly, my goal is to make every child in my care feel safe, secure, and supported. I enjoy engaging children in developmentally appropriate play while encouraging independent play to build creativity, confidence, and problem-solving skills. I have experience with children with autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, developmental delays, and speech and language needs, as well as diverse family dynamics.
