As an undergrad, I have gained experience through internships and volunteer work with children with special needs. I interned at a center that provided ABA intervention therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I also volunteered in a social skills group, working with children with ASD and ADHD diagnosis, to help them learn appropriate ways to interact amongst peers. I also previously worked as a job coach for adults with a range of psychological and developmental disabilities, and I currently work as an ABA teacher aide in a preschool classroom for kids on the spectrum.
