About Sarah

I have 8+ years of experience babysitting children ages 6 months-15 years old. Not only did I grow up in a large family in Portland, but I also babysat frequently during high school, and nannied during college while I was at CU Boulder. After college, I attended UCSF where I received my Master's degree in Global Health and researched the impact of COVID-19 on speech delay in children. After my Master's I worked in marketing for a company developing a treatment for Alzheimer's disease. Recently, I left the company and am looking for part-time work while I am between jobs. Some of my favorite activities to do with the kids that I babysit are crafts, miniature science experiments, and baking. I bring a positive and energetic attitude while understanding caring for children takes a great deal of responsibility and some structure.
