About Lauren

I started working with kids my sophomore year of high school by volunteering in a kindergarten classroom! Volunteering in this class was cut short my Junior year due to COVID. However, throughout COVID I watched a family friend's daughter and helped her with her school work. Following my senior year of high school, I worked as a substitute Head Start teacher for the summer before college. The summer after my sophomore year of college, I spent the summer working for a camp for medically complex children. My last year of college, I frequently babysat for a family at my church. In my spare time, I like to hang out with friends, go for walks, drink coffee, and read good books! My skills include playing and engaging with kids, taking care of their needs, and helping them have a fun time!
