About Lauren

Hi! My name is Lauren, and I'm a 22-year-old Spring 2024 graduate from Florida State University with a major in English and a minor in Child Development. I just moved to Tampa from Orlando and looking to continue my passion for childcare as well as help be the "village" that all families need. I have about 2 years of hands-on babysitting experience, ranging from toddlers to middle schoolers and have the educational background to care for all ages. I've also had the opportunity to volunteer in an elementary classroom setting. My approach prioritizes clear and consistent boundaries, emotional regulation, and positive reinforcement. I focus on providing a safe, routine-focused, and creative space to give children the support and guidance they need to grow and learn. I love crafts, pretend play, educational activities, baking, and outings when appropriate as I do have my own vehicle. In my personal time, I like to do puzzles, work out, and play the harp!
