Towards the end of 2020 I was fortunate to have the opportunity to earn my CNA for free through a local grant where I used to live in Iowa. This was a dream come true! At the retirement community I was working at, I transitioned from being a dietary aide to a nurses aide for geriatric residents in assisted living, memory care, respite care, individuals receiving hospice care, and home health clients. I gained a lot of experience with individuals of various needs and handled a wide range of medications. I also took blood sugars and administered insulin based on prescribed guidelines. Today, I live in Denver and hold my license to work as a nurses aide in Colorado. Care giving is my passion and I am here for you!
