About Lauren

Hello! My name is Lauren and I am currently a Speech Pathology Assistant, Preschool Teacher and volleyball coach at Saint Michael's College. In the fall I will be enrolled full time in UVM's Master's Program in Communication Sciences and Disorders in order to become a licensed Speech Pathologist. I hold four years of experience working with children in both the home and classroom settings. For the last two years I have worked at a private childcare center in Shelburne, primarily with children ages 2-6. At this moment, I am not comfortable caring for children under 2. In 2018, I acted as a Home Teacher/Nanny for two children, ages 6 and 8 for seven months, and I babysat for multiple local families throughout high school. I am very comfortable caring for pets and preparing simple meals. I love to encourage outdoor play time with the kids I care for and have them engage in musical activities and arts and crafts.
